Aurizon Site — UAV LiDAR Survey

Project overview

Redbank Motorway Estate is an industrial development located east of Ipswich. Goodman engaged Jensen Bowers to undertake a detail survey and cadastral reinstatement for the reconfiguration of multiple customer driven industrial lots. The team deployed low-altitude aerial LiDAR technology at 70 metres to generate a complete colour point cloud covering the large site and surrounding regions. Ground surveying validated the accuracy and vegetation penetration capabilities, with results exported as a three-dimensional terrain model for engineering design purposes. This approach enabled Jensen Bowers to reduce project timelines and deliver cost efficiencies to the developer.
