Project overview
The facility required approval to install supplementary lighting towers for night racing and broadcast illumination standards. The team employed terrestrial laser scanning and UAV photogrammetry to document the racecourse and surrounding landscape, generating a detailed colour point cloud. Engineers' specifications for the proposed towers were integrated into modelling software to evaluate light distribution and environmental visual effects. This analysis was instrumental in securing client approval.
