Project overview

Jensen Bowers was engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland to deliver surveying expertise for strategic planning and detailed engineering design of the Gympie Arterial Road Overpass Project. The firm recommended utilising 3D high definition laser scanning and string extraction methodology to capture existing pavement, bridge structures, and features. This approach was chosen for its benefits: reduced traffic disruptions, fewer safety concerns, faster data delivery, and cost savings.
