Spirit, Gold Coast

Project overview

Spirit is a proposed 89-storey residential tower being developed in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Jensen Bowers provided set-out, quality assurance, and monitoring support across 18 months of foundation work, allowing tower construction to advance alongside excavation for multiple basement levels below. The surveying firm developed processes for top-down construction methodology that are expected to serve as benchmarks for future large-scale projects. Laser scans captured external roads, infrastructure, and neighbouring buildings to identify any deterioration or ground movements resulting from internal operations. The team also performed scanning and 3D modelling of the Cutting Rig Wheels to confirm drilling configurations were as per design.
