UQ Oral Health Centre, Herston

Project overview

The $120m UQ Oral Health Centre (OHC) at the Royal Brisbane Hospital is a landmark seven-storey design by Cox Rayner Architects. At the time it was built, the facility represented an advancement in oral health infrastructure, featuring dental clinics, research labs, office spaces, and modern educational facilities. The construction presented significant obstacles due to its sophisticated architectural design and expansive floor dimensions measuring 140 metres by 50 metres. The Jensen Bowers team coordinated with multiple stakeholders — including the client, builder and subcontractors — to successfully deliver the Brisbane health centre.
